Some histories of Farnhill Hall It is a little surprising that very little has been written about the history of Farnhill Hall. In this collection of articles we have brought together a number of short pieces, mostly written in the late 19th or early 20th centuries, by a number of different authors (some unknown). The quality of these varies significantly; from the well-researched to the rather frivolous. They were compiled from papers given to Herman Lofthouse, the chauffeur at the Hall from the late 1920s, by Mr. Reddihough, who owned it. |
